5 Secret Ingredients to Creating a Life Script That Works

Uncategorized Nov 23, 2020

One of the best things I did for myself was creating a life script. If you’re not familiar with life scripts then keep reading because this will really help you. If you are familiar with them still check this out as what I have to say will help you take them to the next level.

I first learned about Life scripts from Peggy McColl. She has a great little program that goes into detail about creating yours, which I used to help get mine written. This is her free ebook on it>>

Life scripts are where you write a script for your life, just like there is a script for a play. You go into detail about your character, the parts you want to play, what you want to experience, who you want to become, the setting that you live in, the work that you do, etc.

A life Script is like affirmations on steroids.

Once you have written it out then you record yourself, or someone else reading it and then listen to it over and over everyday.

The idea behind this is that the repetition of the qualities, goals and visions for yourself will program your subconscious.

I find this especially powerful when it comes to instilling new beliefs and a new self image.

So let’s dive in with the 5 secret ingredients to creating a life script that works.

  1. Write it in present tense. This is very important. Don’t use any language that puts your desires in the future, or that’s where they will stay. You want to get your subconscious mind knowing that this goal, achievement, quality, way of being, is NOW.

If you’re saying that You are so happy that you will be a millionaire, then your subconscious hears “currently not millionaire” and you attract what you are, not what you want. So what you are is “not a millionaire.”

TIP: if you really just can’t get into alignment with “I am a millionaire” then write “I am becoming a millionaire” until that feels good and then upgrade to “I am a millionaire”
  2. Write in positive language. You want to always keep the terminology in the positive tone. Don’t say things like “I’m so grateful that I don’t have negative people in my life,” or “I’m so happy that I’m able to quit my job,” or I’m so happy that I am out of debt.” Rather say “I’m so grateful that I’m surrounded by positive people, That I’m creating money doing what I love, and I am financially free having more than enough money to pay all my bills.”

  3. Give a lot of attention to the type of person you desire to become. You may be tempted to simply write “I’m so happy and grateful now that I’m a millionaire, I have a Mercedes, I’m married to my dream spouse and I live in a mansion.” What I’ve found to be very effective is to first do some work of what the kind of person is like that would have the life that is described in the above sentence.

As you discover the qualities of this person then you can include that into your script. For example, “I am so happy and grateful now that I love my life. Everyone I come in contact with I leave them with the impression of increase. I’m very magnetic and people are dying to work with me. Money comes to me easily and effortlessly and I am financially literate. I attract the best people to work with me that I love working with and they love working with me. I’m focused, confident, persistent, and efficient.”

  4. Include some events in your script that you can expand on to create emotion. This is very powerful because when we incorporate emotion into our affirmations and visualization it super charges it. You can pick an event like the purchase of your dream home, or your wedding day, or speaking on stage at your event. Write out in detail about what you are feeling as you go through the motions of the event you’re “living.”

Your subconscious doesn’t know the difference between what is real and what is imagined. So imagining this event puts you in the vibration of it happening, which then allows your subconscious to know that this is the person you are. You are really experiencing this. You align to it vibrationally and then your subconscious works at attracting and creating it in your life.

  5. Add music. Music is a wonderful tool we can use to raise our vibration. Think when you are working around the house and you put on some upbeat music, how it makes you feel better and you enjoy your work more. Adding high vibration music to your life script recording will take it up another notch.

I know that Peggy McColl commits to listening to her power life script at least 7 times a day and her’s is over 30 minutes long. At the very least you’ll want to listen to this at least once a day and ideally have it looping while you are sleeping. Rather than listening to the radio, listen to your life script. Repetition is key here and as much as possible get your emotion involved as well.

Your life is running on a program that was installed in the first 7 years of your life. It controls the show 95% of the day. This is the kind of work that is required to reprogram the subconscious so that the program running is what we want.

Now let’s get scripting!
