I used to believe that if I wasn’t working hard I wasn’t worthy of success, abundance, money, things, love, etc. Working hard was what I thought gave a person value. Not only that, I saw hard work as, well, hard. Not fun. Torture. Difficult. Drudgery. I didn’t want to do it, but when I didn’t work hard I felt guilty and worthless.
What a terrible state I was in! Just writing that makes me want to give my old self a big hug and tell her she’s worthy of love and good things even if she doesn’t work hard. In fact she can have all the beautiful and wonderful things she desires in an easy and effortless manner doing what she loves without the stress and struggle.
And that’s true for you too. You can live in a way where you take action out of inspiration and excitement rather than forcing and will power.
The easiest way to get to this place where you manifest consistently in a fun and easy way is through meditation. But not just any meditation. You see, most meditation is taught utilizing a method. Whether it is focusing on your breath, listening to a guided meditation, or repeating a mantra you are never the less kept from a much deeper experience which is your natural meditative self.
When the conscious mind is focused on a mantra, someone else talking or your breath you are kept on the surface level of consciousness. What we want is to transcend to those deeper levels of consciousness, where we enter into the gap between thought and really connect to Source. That is when magical things happen, and they happen very quickly.
When you re connect with your higher self and allow the real you to “be” you’ll experience things that take most forms of meditations years if not decades to experience.
This meditation is called Streamline meditation. It’s cutting away all the unnecessary stuff that keeps people bound so that you can get results quickly. It’s the one thing that you can do to cover all your bases.
As you meditate in this way you will find your day to day life more enjoyable, your relationships richer, your experiences more beautiful and your results improved. Let me illustrate how this works.
You find yourself in a room. The room itself isn’t terrible but you want more. You don’t want to live your whole life in this room. So you quickly make the decision that you don’t want to stay in this room forever and set the goal to get out of the room. Here are two scenarios:
Scenario One
You frantically run about the room, looking under tables, pulling out books from the bookshelf, going through every box and bag to try and find your way. You get a hammer and chisel and start chipping away at the cement wall. You’ve picked a random spot and are hoping it will be the right choice and eventually get you out of the room. You hate chiselling are your hands are bleeding from the continuous hammering. You try hitting the wall using an axe, a baseball bat and then a plastic spoon to dig the hole deeper. You keep digging for months and months only to find that you’ve hit a dead end and all that effort got you nowhere. Now you start again stressing and struggling with how to get out of the room. You’re working so hard but you’re stuck.
Scenario Two
You sit down and relax in the centre of the room. You think, I want to get out of this room. You listen. You get an idea to get up and go to the door and turn the door knob to open the door. You get up and open the door. You exit the room.
Which scenario is more appealing to you?
Most people operate in the scenario 1 example. Taking random shots in the dark, working super hard, hoping something works. Streamline meditation is what sets the stage for scenario 2. You get in touch with that which has all the answers. You listen, the inspiration is given and then you easily and effortlessly act on it. It’s something joyful and fulfilling for you and you end up accomplishing way more with way less time and effort.
I don’t know about you, but like scenario 2. I’m not going to lie, I still sometimes slip back into scenario 1. It is so familiar and what I’ve spent most of my life doing. But the more I meditate, the more that old model of stress and struggle fades.
Since I started meditating with Streamline I’ve been getting comments from people like, “You’re so calm and I feel so good being around you. You’re like a completely different person than when I last saw you. What have you been doing, you look amazing! Wow, you’re so calm and confident now, you’ve grown so much. Out of all the people I know, you’re the only one that seems to be continually evolving and growing, every time I see you, you’re at a new place.”
I can honestly say I have never been so at peace, so calm and serene, so happy and so on purpose with my life. I’m clearer than I’ve ever been on what I desire to create in this lifetime but I’m not anxious and impatient about it. I have a good balance between taking inspired action towards my goals and enjoying the simple things like cuddles with my kids, watching the squirrels play outside and a really good cup of coffee. Meditation has really brought me into the NOW, living my life moment by moment. It’s so effective in raising my vibration which in turn attracts so much good into my life in what seems like magical ways.
